The Chicago DogClosest Hot Dog I've had here in the South with all the flavors of a Real Midwest Dog ! Soooo.....Goood Bread toasted tasted homemade French fries soft inside crisp outside PERFECT .
A mouthwatering Double Burger cooked exactly right , the bun was excellently toasted and appeared to be freshly baked Fries nailed it !
Although it's set up for self service the Chef and I do mean Chef brought our order out . This man was no short order cook.
The ambiance was early Beach and had Boardwalk pictures up. All sparkling brand new!
We will be back to try more off their extensive menu, trust me when I say their is something for everyone . Dessert was a glorious cheesecake that looked like heaven sent .
And I wanted to add we were there just before Dorian was supposed to visit and still quite a few were eating in and a lot of to go orders were being picked up , if that doesn't say check this place out I don't know what does ? FOOD SO GOOD A HURRICANE COULDN'T STOP BUSINESS! ELAINEB -

On a whim, my husband and I stopped at Jumpin' Jax House of Food because we were hungry and it was lunch time. He also had a hankering for a burger.
We arrived and the interior of this restaurant is super cute. I love their nod to Atlantic Beach on the walls.
Their menu is pretty large and offers quite the variety (sandwiches, pizza, burgers, floats, milkshakes), something for everyone. I opted for This Bird Can't Fly (turkey burger, pepper jack cheese, no slaw, Jax sauce, fried avocado), and a water. My meal came with fries.
The woman at the counter was super friendly and you could tell she really liked her job.
I was given a card (shiniest coin in the treasure chest) instead of a number, which was so cute and made me smile.
They called out the phrase on our card and my hubby said, "you are." I like being flattered .
My burger looked great and the bun looked delish. I bit into it and the turkey burger was seasoned great, the cheese was perfectly melted and the Jax sauce was sweet and tangy. The seasoning on the fries tasted Cajun, minus spice. Everything was just great!
Pros:
-Variety on the menu
-Turkey burger and fries were flavorful
-Feel good phrases instead of numbers makes you feel special
Cons:
-Signage was a bit small on the front of the building, you could easily miss it.
Tips: try the Jax sauce. -

I think I like the Mandarin location better. First time for lunch at either location so maybe the day shift is simply not on the same level as the dinner crew.
Food was decent but I've come to expect better based on the Mandarin location. Customer service also seemed to be not as good as the other location either. Maybe it's local management, maybe it's just the personnel that were here today. -

I will say we came in for The Beyond Burger because we're vegetarians and and after 20+ years of being a veggie it's wonderful to be able to out to a burger joint!
The ordering process was straight forward and because we were sitting outside they brought our food out to us. Normally they would yell out the silly phrase on your receipt and they would find you that way. It was a perfect evening to sit outside and enjoy our meal and conversation. There were plenty of places to sit and inside was a bit on the noisy side with lots families, which was not a bad thing just nicer outside.... the service was prompt and everyone was very friendly which is always nice. The only ding for us was the fries were seasoned which neither of us really cared for. We did get the fried avocado bits which were interesting and they here is a nice selection of canned as bottled beer. Overall it was a solid experience and because of the veggie options we'll be back! -

Walked in on a Saturday night after 7 PM. No wait. Food was out quick and the service was great. I will definitely be going back. They have Nice selection of salads, burgers + pizza, and wraps. Can't wait to try the black bean veggie burger..
